The bottom line is that a little sleep during the day is simply a better way to deal with stress and fatigue. Studies have proven this time and time again. Whether a CPA, or a barista, our objective is to make this option more accessible to everyone.
- Doze is not funded by venture capital
- Doze is not funded by angel investors
- Doze did not go through an incubator
- Doze did not have a Kickstarter
Doze is financed with good ole fashioned savings & loans (which I guess makes Doze more like a Mom n' Pop shop than a start-up).
About the owner
Virginia native, 7 year San Francisco transplant, lover of good people, and I still hail cabs. A risk taker by nature and a student of empathy by nurture.
Having recently decided to leave the cushy world of key-cards and lunches to head into the world of health and wellness, the decision to create Doze was one born of wanting to expand the options we have to manage daytime fatigue. Of course Doze is not for everyone, but I know that I'm not the only one who appreciates the benefits of turning off the brain every once in awhile. I sleep well at night, but still need a boost midday.
I am most likely to: Advocate for phone-free dinners
I am least likely to: Get upset about differing opinions
If you're in the neighborhood, feel free to drop in. I'm onsite daily.
